About Atomic Threads

Why do we focus our work on businesses?

Simple. We are business people ourselves, and we share many of the same challenges as other small to medium-sized businesses. We get it. We get you.

Business people need to get results; that's what we deliver. No fluff, no fooling. Our team is here to help you find the right solution-- Even if that isn't us! No business can offer all things to all people, and we know that. We focus on our strengths, and those are:

    • Business accounts with a need to reorder established designs as their team grows.

    • Authorized contacts with ability to pay for product at time of quote approval.

    • For a first-time design, clients must be able to meet our order minimum of $500.

After your initial order, you may reorder as many or as few items as you need after that!

Note: We will consider virtually any project even if it's not specifically for a business, but please know that our focus and priority are projects for commercial clients.

What projects do we NOT do?

The above being said, we truly enjoy printing fun personal T-shirt projects, event shirts and other unique projects. Not sure? Just Request a Quote! Some of our most interesting and rewarding projects have been the "out of the box" shirt projects presented by individuals. "It never hurts to ask"!

Sorry, we do not print one-offs or less-than-minimum orders.

Our system is built for repeat ordering and we are not able to handle smaller projects, due to the time required for any new design. We can only take on so much at a time, and we value a healthy work/life balance.

• For one-off T-shirt orders, try an online vendor such as customink.com.

• For small embroidery projects such as adding a name to an item, try searching for a local seamstress who might be able to help. They often have pro-sumer grade machines and can better offer simple personalization such as this.

How'd we get our name?

Atomic Threads, Inc.'s name came about from owner Andrew's fascination with Manhattan Project history, AKA the science and events leading up to man's understanding of nuclear physics and the ultimate harnessing of the power of the atomic energy. A visit to the nearby Hanford Site (the American cold war plutonium production site) near Richland, WA led Andrew on a lifelong investigation into the "how" of this fascinating atomic energy complex and it's inner workings.

How could such an enormous and untested project such as Hanford have succeeded?

Through years of study, many insights were gained into what made the enormous Hanford project produce such never before seen results. Strategy, scientific methods, process engineering, data collection, staff organization and a myriad of other aspects developed in the time of this huge, secret government project all inspired Andrew in a unique way.

An attitude of "We WILL prevail" even despite lack of certain knowledge in the early years helped to create successes at our own "atomic plant". Constantly striving for excellence has helped us to streamline our processes both internally and on the client side.

In a nutshell-- We take inspiration from things much bigger than our own project, to produce super-sized results.
